Founded in 2016 by Nahsh Maquiling to give Filipino writers a fair, transparent, global publishing home. Member of FILSCAP and CISAC.
We started because writers were losing royalties. No registration, no collection, no transparency.
Lemmonhead Publishing was built to fix that. Small roster, deep admin, global reach. In 2016, Nahsh Maquiling saw the gap between Filipino talent and global collection infrastructure. Local writers had songs streamed worldwide but no one to collect from those territories.
We became a FILSCAP member in 2018 to secure local performance and mechanicals. In 2020, we joined CISAC network for global affiliation. That gave us access to 120 plus societies worldwide. Today we administer hundreds of works from Asia, US, Europe via world class distribution partners.
Our philosophy is writer first. 80/20 admin deals, not ownership grabs. Transparent quarterly statements. You keep 100 percent ownership. We administer. Deals have reversion clauses after 3 years.
What makes us different from other publishing houses? We are boutique but with major infrastructure. We do not chase thousands of writers. We focus on core roster: Alexander Osmena, Assembly Language, Sixteen Minutes, Zee Alivio. Each gets deep admin, sync pitching, career development.
